A newly-discovered organelle might be the key to better cancer medicines that prevent it from happening in the first place.

There is hope for patients that are suffering from Cancer, an almost always terminal disease that comes with no definitive cure at the moment. One of the possible cures that might prove better than current therapies is a newly-discovered organelle that might be the magic bullet. Scientists from the University of Virginia School of Medicine have stumbled upon it, and are probing and investigating the mystery organelle for the first time.

One of the problems of cellular division begins in the organelles, that should function well or have disastrous results for the host cells. An organelle is one of the oldest parts of the cell and regulates cell functions. Everything must go like clockwork, but sometimes things go awry and change will put a wrench in the cellular bio-machine.
