Earth Day is commemorated every April 22 of the year. With each passing year, Earth Day becomes more significant as the global climate crisis worsens. Earth Day brings together millions of people by allowing all stakeholders to raise awareness and collaborate on crucial issues such as global warming, deforestation, and vanishing forest cover.

This year, earthday.org encourages everyone to "participate in the transition." In 1990, Earth Day renamed an "environmental campaign" that "works with over 75,000 collaborators in 192 countries to drive sustainable action for our world."
