With the Star Wars: The Force Awakens set to release soon; rumors have started circulating a lot about the movie's plot. It is common that huge rumors circulate before release of big movies, but the interesting fact of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" rumors is that many are true according to J.J. Abrams, the director of the movie.
He also states that he doesn't want the spoiler rumors of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" to dampen the suspense or spoil the movie for fans who are eagerly waiting for it.
Several rumors claim that some evil villains are creating a weapon on an ice planet (Hoth, anyone?) to wipe out the solar system. While others state that a major character is going to die in this movie relating to Obi-Wan's death in Star Wars. That being said, J.J. Abrams has declined to identify which rumors are accurate.
The 48 year old director told News.com.au through Den of Geek "My dream is that, despite so many rumors -- many of which are true, many of which are untrue -- when people see the movie, they see something that hasn't been completely ruined for them by having read spoilers they might not have wanted to read."
But this is not the same case with Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron in the film. He clearly showed his hatred for the rumors in a recent interview with Yahoo.
"I can't speak for the cast and crew. For me I thought, don't you want to wait so you can get the real thing?" he said.
And unlike J.J. Abrams, Oscar Isaac declined all allegations of rumors being true. He stated that plot theories get formulated because of rumors and they can not be more far off base. He also further said that the studio takes extreme precautions because nowadays due to huge number of blogs and many other things, people are just hungry for information.
The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" directed by J.J. Abrams is presently into deep post-production. The movie is set to release on December 18th, 2015. With less than nine months left for the release, J.J. Abrams said "we're still cutting it, but I could not be more excited" in an interview with News.com.au.
