Kartheek Dokka originally studied bioinformatics and biotechnology and later moved to FinTech product development. Thanks to his transferable skills, he has been able to pursue a career that has significantly impacted business performance due to unique solutions developed with AI and machine learning applications.

Dokka started his career with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) in Hyderabad, India. His fascination with the topic then took him to the US, where he completed two Master's degrees: one in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from California State University and the other in Systems Management from Coleman University.

Dokka's early years devoted to biotechnology led him to the role of a Stem-Cell Research Scientist at Stemedica in San Diego. In this role, he developed standard operating procedures for culturing neural stem cells. This role required his meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of complex scientific processes to succeed the way he did. Though he was successful, he later pivoted his career and bridged his scientific experience with the fields of technology and product management.

Dokka quickly realized the potential of integrating technology with traditional fields. As Senior Technical Product Manager at Xifin, he used his scientific expertise to develop personalized Revenue Cycle management solutions to improve transactions for clients with insurance agencies. Through this, he was able to translate technical challenges into user-based solutions.

The leap into more direct tech roles came when Dokka joined Amazon as a Technical Program Manager. In this role, he improved the Natural Language Understanding success rate of Amazon Alexa from 68% to 81% in the North American region. This particular project demonstrated his ability to lead and innovate in high-stakes environments.

Years later, at Expedia, Dokka started as a Technical Product Manager before moving into a role as a B2B Product Manager. Here, he drove improvements across various financial tasks, such as enhancing the Pricing API, leading to a 3% increase in conversion rates. This translated to an additional $20 million in revenue. He also developed machine learning models for hotel sorting and pricing to further optimize user experiences, which generated another $60 million annually.

By updating Expedia's onboarding processes for vacation rentals, he was able to automate 100% of the procedures and reduce the time required by 90%, leading to a 30% increase in partners onboarded annually. This resulted in another $12 million in revenue within the first year.

Overall, Dokka is committed to continuous learning. His many prestigious certificates, including Product Management for Engineers from Cornell University, help him understand the incredible opportunities of AI and machine learning to address global challenges. In particular, he is now focused on improving healthcare accessibility and affordability due to inspiration from his great-grandmother, Dokka Seethamma, a revered philanthropist in Southern India and the UK. Dokka's love for community service and philanthropy has led him to apply these passions to his professional pursuits.

Dokka's accomplishments prove that passion and experiences can revolutionize businesses with innovative FinTech solutions based on AI and machine learning. As he continues to lead, he remains an influential figure within the tech industry.
