One of the leading smartphone companies in China has made its way in the international market with its previous products such as the Mi4 and Redmi Note 2, and it's about to make another big splash with its brand new offering. The flagship caliber phone from the rising Chinese tech company that focuses on a metallic uni-body design revealed the Redmi Note 3.
The Redmi Note 3 is equipped with a 5.5 inch display with 403 ppi pixel density layered on top with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Running the device is Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company owned MIUI 7.0, giving the device another flavor than most of the Android devices offered in the market.
The MIUI 7.0 gives the user a more unique and easy navigation of the Note 3. It has an octacore processor Helio X10 partnered with 2 GB or RAM for the 16 GB variant and 3 GB for the 32 GB. This processing power is more than enough to give its user a fluid experience and a lag-free device.
For the selfie and the photo enthusiasts, the device offers a 13 megapixel rear shooter with dual led flash, which is capable of creating crisp images and a front camera with a 5 megapixel shooter capable of 1080p recording. Powering the device is a massive 4000 mAh battery that can supply a day of power in the device. One of the major additions of The Redmi Note 3 is the first of its kind in the Xiaomi line of devices' fingerprint scanner, located in the metallic back of the device. The said scanner can unlock the phone in just 0.3 second and it has an added security feature.
The Redmi Note 3 has a competitive price USD $140, which is cheaper than the technology being offered by the device. The Redmi Note 3 plays in a totally different market and given its descent hardware and added features such as the fingerprint scanner, attracting customers will not really be a problem. The device was announced to begin distribution in Asia on Nov. 27.
