Change is scary. Very often, people feel like they have their life mapped out and must follow that plan at all costs. That was the case with Mike Ogbebor (MikeInc), who was on track to become a medical doctor. Except for the fact that this wasn't his passion. Fearlessly, MikeInc quit medical school to pursue business and entrepreneurship. His efforts paid off big time. Today, he has been voted one of the Top 40 Under 40 investors in the nation. He is a founder and partner in a number of hospitality businesses and dialysis clinics in Houston, Texas, where he grew up. He is a motivational speaker, Professional Options Trader, and a true inspiration.

MikeInc's strong sense of purpose and the relentless desire to persevere dates back to his childhood. He grew up in an immigrant family of African descent. "Honestly, at first, my African descent was a hurdle to me," he shares, adding, "There was so much I wanted to express, but I didn't have the vocabulary for it. I felt helpless at times."

MikeInc recalls that he would speak to his friends and classmates and they would make fun of his thick accent. Instead of letting that social pressure create lasting damage on his psyche, though, he decided that he'd transform himself and grow stronger.

"Looking back on this now, it truly made me stronger. See, today I have over 1,000,000 people following me on Instagram. They all want to hear from me, the former child with a funny accent that people used to make fun of," he says.

When it comes to professional realizations, MikeInc was never afraid to push the status quo. He began studying medicine in medical school. "I really wanted to help people," he shares. Along the way, however, he confronted the reality of societal hierarchy. "At one point," he recalls, "I had become another statistic. I was working a nine-to-five job, and quite honestly, I was miserable. I knew that there was a better way of life and I wanted it for myself!"

As a part of the millennial generation, MikeInc knew right away that while medicine would help people, he would be much more useful as a coach and a motivator. "I know what people from my generation want. They want freedom and crave independence. We hate limitations. We want to do things our way," he says.

MikeInc has helped countless people so far and he has an ambitious goal in mind. He wants to help at least 20 people become millionaires by 2022. Following this powerhouse entrepreneur's pattern, he is certainly on track to hit that target.

What's his secret? He simply focuses on bringing out the best in people. "Look, I'm here to show people that they are worthy and capable. I'm not a magician. What I am is someone who can see people's strengths and open their eyes to those qualities when that's needed! Sometimes all that people need is a little push."
