The U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that more than 40 million people have lost their jobs due to Coronavirus. The rest of the world is suffering a similar fate. In a time when financial worries are at an all-time high and unemployment benefits are being crippled under the weight of all the applications, we have to ask the question...what now?
In terms of finances, there is a way out, although it's going to take an unprecedented amount of hard work, courage, risk, and time. The internet provides a platform to start one's own business with little to no overhead costs. It will be slow in the first few months, especially as people aren't spending as much as they used to. With small businesses having to close and big businesses reporting record-high profits, it's become imperative for people with ideas and work ethic to throw their energy into reviving the entrepreneurial spirit.
People like Andrew Hristo, who have been able to make a six-figure salary with just a laptop and an internet connection, are in demand now more than ever. Andrew started his business when he was 13 years old, buying products from China and selling them on eBay. Over the next few years, he continued building his brand through product flipping and e-commerce. When he was 19 years old he left his South Australian home and headed to the United States to study at the University of Miami. Now, at 25 years old, Andrew travels the world while juggling his multiple enterprises. These include businesses from an online personal training business and influencer marketing business to digital marketing and e-commerce courses. Andrew has managed to monetize his hobbies.
With the knowledge and experience he's accumulated over the last few years, Andrew maintains that for anyone to make it in the online business world, it's important that they have a clear understanding of why they're doing this. Make the list. One can have multiple reasons or one main reason, and when those inevitable challenges do pop up, they can look back at that list and find motivation in their WHY.
Andrew also believes that the reason he's been able to throw himself into the long hours and dedication is because he's always prioritized his physical and mental health. This kind of work comes with stress, and one needs ways to handle it effectively. "Your brain functions best when you get the right amount of sleep, when you're eating well, and when your body is moving. Your mood improves, too." Following an exercise and eating program has allowed Andrew to avoid burnout and to work at his peak.
