Optimizing health is a global desire, but is there any one thing that could help in fulfilling that desire on such a grand scale? Finding the right diet and lifestyle plan to optimize each individual's health is an overwhelming task. Every person brings a diverse set of circumstances and needs to the table. On a global scale, humans have diverse needs and health concerns worldwide. However, the worldwide success of USANA is evidentiary to the health benefits of its products. People have more reason than ever to feel isolated right now, so it's refreshing to see a company overcome the hurdles that typically keep the global community divided. With its products hitting top numbers in the Philippines, China, Australia and Europe, it's promising to see a company that is able to connect on a global scale.

USANA's partnerships serve to inform the public about its products by supplying its products to inspiring and talented athletes across the globe. Since 1999, USANA has partnered with some of the world's most skilled athletes. Recently, USANA partnered with New Zealand's professional rugby league team, the Vodafone Warriors. "In a sport as physical as rugby league, it's vital our athletes have the right nutritional support, both on and off the field, when it comes to their match preparation. We're delighted to have USANA onboard to fuel our team as we head into the 2020 season," says Glenn Critchley, Vodafone Warriors GM Commercial.

This partnership with the Warriors is one of many athletic organizations USANA has teamed up with. Across the globe, USANA has partners in sports ranging from baseball to cross country to speedskating. Another exciting partnership is with The Bundesliga's Club VfL Wolfsburg, a German football team. "When it comes to health, numerous athletes trust USANA more than any other company. So, we're excited to develop this partnership further in the coming years, and look forward to supporting USANA with our global network," says VfL Managing Director Michael Meeske.

As a company with its headquarters in Utah, it's impressive to see USANA's partnerships take place on a global scale. Back at home, their partnerships include the US Speedskating team, WTA, USA Nordic, US Ski & Snowboard, USA Luge and USA wrestling. Their partnership with the USA wrestling team in 2018 was actually the first time partnering with a national summer sport organization. Additionally, USANA has partnered with 2018 World silver medalist, two-time World Team member, three-time Pan American Championships champion and 2018 U.S. Open champion Sarah Hildebrandt of Colorado Springs to act as one of the company's Brand Ambassadors. Hildebrandt is currently ranked No. 1 in the 53kg division.

About USANA

So, what is it about USANA's products that keep athletes coming back? USANA has over 25 years of experience in providing the highest quality nutritional products. Founded in 1992 by Dr. Myron Wentz, USANA is a company that values science backed products, which is evident in the recognition from third-party assessors. Most recently, CosumerLab.com honored USANA with a seal of approval for their Digestive Enzyme supplement, the fifth seal of approval received for USANA's probiotic. The company has also received more than 100 state, national and international accolades, including Utah Best of State, Stevie Awards, Australian Business Awards, NutriSearch Editor's Choice and others.

Previous to establishing itself in the athletics industry, USANA's primary intention was in developing advanced nutritional products that would help people in leading healthier and more rewarding lives. It wasn't long before the company became a leader in the health and wellness industry with a full line of nutritional products and a blog to educate customers on how to optimize their health beyond the products they are consuming.

The company's success exploded into 20 international markets in just 25 years. In 1996, the company went public and hoped by doing so they would be able to instill confidence and establish transparency with constituents. With so much mainstream success, Team USANA was finally born in 1999. What now includes more than 2,000 athletes, Team USANA is a collection of world-class athletes who trust their health to USANA and its high-quality supplements. Impressively, in 2006, 39 athletes from USANA sponsored teams competed in the Torino Winter Games and more than 60 Team USANA athletes competed at the London Summer Games in 2012.

USANA's products encompass a wide variety of nutritional needs, making it an easy and convenient one stop shop for anyone trying to focus on their health but unsure where to start. USANA employs and relies on more than 60 scientists, including nutritional biochemists, molecular and cellular biologists, pharmacists, and sports science experts that research and develop products based on the latest nutritional scientific discoveries. They test, study, and continuously improve product lines using state-of-the-art technologies with the goal of changing the current nutritional dogma from a standard of minimal amounts of nutrition to optimal levels of nutrition to promote optimal health. And in developing partnerships with some of the world's top athletes, they are doing just that.

Jessica Long is an American Paralympic swimmer from Baltimore, Maryland and one of USANA's featured athletes. In total, Long has won 23 Paralympic medals, 13 being gold. Given the amount of time she spends in the water, it's natural that her face struggles to stay moisturized. So, her favorite product is the Celavive Exfoliating Scrub + Mask. Whereas, Sarah Hildebrandt prefers the on the go perks of the HealthPak, a selection of core supplements in daily packets.

Nikko Huelgas is a Fillipino Triathlete who trains six times a week - swimming for 20 kilometers, biking for 250 kilometers, and running for about 70 kilometers. When asked about his favorite products, Huelgas does not withhold his praise, "I love USANA for its all around effect on my body. My overall performance has seriously improved when I switched to USANA as my new daily supplements. My favorites for the past 2 years are definitely the Essentials for overall, CoQ10 for extra energy boost and Pure Rest if I needed to get quality sleep immediately. Everything got even better when USANA launched the CellSentials as it has made me recover faster on my hard days. I surely felt the difference. Being with USANA is crucial to my daily life as an Athlete and a person that does a lot of stuff to aspire to become better each day. I only trust USANA."

J'den Cox is an United States Wrestling Olympic Medalist and 2X World Champion. Despite the struggle with always being on the go, J'den always prioritizes the nutrients his body needs to be at peak form. For him, this means keeping USANA's Nutrimeal on hand in order to get the protein and fiber that his body needs, but in a way that is quick and easy for his hectic schedule.

Canadian bobsledder and the reigning Olympic Gold Medalist in two-man bobsleigh, Alex Kopacz, finds USANA's Procosa to be especially helpful in getting through the wear and tear of a typical season. It's designed to care for the unique spots where bones connect and delivers vegetarian glucosamine HCI to help maintain healthy cartilage and joints.

All in all, VfL Managing Director Michael Meeske says it best, "with all of the positive feedback from other professional athletes who trust USANA and its certified products, it was an easy decision for VfL Wolfsburg to trust and join the USANA team." This positive feedback has proven to be a launchpad for an already explosively successful company and is doing exactly what it takes to create lasting ripples of change in the dogma around optimal health.
