A study from the Yale University showed that air humidity impacts the response of the body to the flu virus. Experts conducted an investigation with genetically modified mice that react to the flu virus just as how humans do.

The said animals were in the rooms with a similar temperature but different humidity were exposed to H1N1 or the flu virus A.

The organisms in the places that had lower humidity were more susceptible to catching the virus. Notably too, in similar conditions, the regeneration in the airways slowed down after they got an infection.

Consequently, scientists are convinced that to lessen the risk of developing the flu, one should use an air humidifier-not just at home but in any place, as well.
