A woman had recently gone viral online after she shared a major discovery she made about herself while she was delivering her first child.
According to a Mirror report, Brittany Jacobs, an American mother has become an online sensational after she participated in a TikTok challenge about things medical practitioners have totally ignored when there was evidently something not right.
A mother of two, Jacobs revealed that she had always been suspicious that something was not quite right with her since she had two extremely painful periods each month.
More so, sexual intercourse had been painful for both her and her husband, not to mention, carrying her baby bump on the side.
However, it was not until she delivered her first child, when she was 25 years old, finally, someone was able to figure out what the problem was.

The 'TikTok Challenge'
In a TikTok video posted under the account name, @BritsBurg, the American mom joked she 'owned' the challenge as she explained that, as the nurse told her she had not just one but two female genitalia.
On her post, she said, "Yeah, I'm about to own this." And that she has always considered herself to have an excessively high pain tolerance although her periods were undeniably bad that she would cry. She added, she would always bleed out of her tampons.
Jacobs also said, when she was pregnant with her first child, as mentioned earlier, she would only carry on one side. Not only that, she continued, sex with her husband was definitely painful.
Two periods each month had become a normal cycle for her although they were two separate monthly periods.

Discovery After Over 30 Hours of Labor
Jacobs continued sharing, she's had pap smears, giving birth, and, more than 30 hours into labor, she would see her nurse looking down, and hear her say she actually not just one, but a pair of female genitalia, two cervixes, and a pair of uteruses.
And, for 25 years then, nobody had noticed, neither no one knew what it was. After what the nurse discovered, Jacobs was diagnosed with a unique condition called uterine didelphys.
According to Nationwide's Children's Hospital, Uterine Didelphys is a condition that exists prior to birth in which the mother is developing two uteruses instead of just one.
Jacobs explained more about what happened to her in a second video, also on TikTok, describing how she has one opening which is split by a vaginal spectrum, that is akin to the septum in the nose, although thicker.
The spectrum is separating the vaginal canals into one or two, although it is like one to two inches up inside the single exterior hole, she continued explaining.
Reactions on TikTok
As of this writing, over 2.8 million had already watch this mother's first TikTok video, with it, gaining more than half a million likes.
Thousands of subscribers took time as well to post comments, with many of them raising many questions about the condition of Jacobs.
One commented about having guessed the two uterus thing, although not everything. Another one questioned about doctors' efficiency asking if they are even 'doctoring' anymore, and how.
Another interesting comment was one that said, such a condition is so interesting. The same person who commented also asked if it means, one can get theoretically get pregnant on both sides, and if the babies would technically be twins.
