A blogger with a pen name "Lana", who proclaims herself as a feminist recently wrote a blog post on Injustice Stories (her own blog) in which she claimed to have an abortion because the fetus was male.
According to Daily Caller, Lana claims to have given up her whole career to fight for the cause of gender equality in this world. She has travelled all over the world in pursuit of this feminist campaign.
It all started when she was travelling to attend an Occupy Wall Street even in San Francisco. According to the Huffington Post, she was explaining the purpose of her trip to the man sitting beside her, to which he replied, "Bitches like you need to learn their place."
She screamed "Assault!," but the flight attendants decided not to force the man to move his seat because he hadn't physically touched Lana.
Instead, they suggested that she move to some empty seats in the economy class, which she did.
This was the experience that changed her complete outlook of the entire male population. She writes, "By the time we landed, my outlook had changed, I could no longer depend on men to be an ally of the cause."
It was around 2012 when Lana became pregnant through what she calls a "donator".
Soon after she confirmed the pregnancy, she started researching for all-girl daycares, and schools to make sure that her daughter is not being interfered by any male during her development. She was very confident that she would be having a girl.
Then she was confronted with what she claims as a bad news, and that her body had "betrayed" her because she was carrying a male child.
She mentioned that the fact that her baby had a penis immediately gave her an extreme fit of "crying, sobbing, uncontrollable weeping, mental anguish the likes of which may only be experienced by those who have had their lives destroyed by war," in the blog post.
After a couple of days of knowing the sex of her baby, she had an abortion.
She mentions that the procedure made her feel free and strong, and that she was proud that she didn't let her body "bring another monster into the world."
Lana claims that she does not hate men but "rather the product of an environment or social circle they have been exposed to."
She is now a mother of a 1 year old girl.
