SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Landing Makes Loud Noise After Sending 105 Satellites to Space

Those watching the SpaceX rocket launch from Florida's Space Coast heard a loud boom on Thursday morning. The sound was characterized as a "canon (that) went off" by some. It was SpaceX's tenth successful launch and landing of Falcon9 rockets.

SpaceX successfully launched a fresh set of tiny satellites into Earth's orbit earlier this week. These were put into their Falcon 9 rocket, which took out from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 10:25 a.m. EST.

Fans Stunned Over SpaceX Sonic Boom

Fans and other witnesses on the ground found the whole event of SpaceX Falcon 9 bringing satellites into orbit terrifying and thrilling.

Some admirers took to social media to share their stories. The incredible sonic explosion made one admirer chuckle out loud. One netizen joked that the noise was unrelated to the SpaceX launch.

Even though she was "2 ½ hours from Cape Canaveral," one fan with Twitter username @LizSetsFire reported she could hear the rocket landing. She pondered (and joked) whether Elon Musk would compensate her for the fear by donating Bitcoin.

JimmyKrakCoin, another Twitter user, heard the deafening sonic boom near Spaceport.

One fan caught the action on their smartphone camera, and WKMG uploaded it to YouTube. Because of the strong gusts, the audio is a little shaky. Falcon 9 landed with its engines still running in the footage and a sudden loud boom could be heard at 25 seconds into the video.

SpaceX Successful Rocket Landing

The entire event was live-streamed on SpaceX's social media website. Fans who want to see the replay may view the Tweet below.

SpaceX also posted a slew of stunning photographs from the flight on Twitter.

More crucially, locals along the Florida Space Coast could see the Falcon 9's launch, landing, and retrieval procedure throughout the event.

It's important to note that this is only one of many missions set to launch this year. SpaceX still has additional launches on the books for January, maintaining consistent with the quick launch tempo it set last year," according to Space.com.

It's also worth noting that the Transporter-3 is the official name for this latest space mission. It is SpaceX's third dedicated rideshare mission. The company assisted other firms in launching their own satellites using their Falcon 9 rocket.

Falcon 9 also carried satellites from Spaceflight Inc and Exolaunch, and the SpaceX Starlink satellites. Derek Tournear, head of the Space Development Agency (SDA), also said in the same Space.com report that this mission concept is "unique." He explained that it is ideal for small satellite enterprises.

Fans should keep an eye on the SpaceX flight schedule for additional information. Hopefully, Elon Musk or the firm will issue a new update this week.
