Elon Musk claimed that the much-anticipated humanoid robot, the Tesla Optimus, maybe a wonderful present for senior citizens.
This reminds people of many futuristic movies when grandma and grandfathers have robot house helpers.
There is a strong likelihood that humans will have to coexist with robots someday when businesses introduce new technology that can make people's lives simpler.
Elon Musk Says Tesla Optimus Might Be Given to Old People
The billionaire was requested to write a substantial portion of the official magazine of the internet regulator, according to the most recent Electrek article.
Elon and China get along well when it comes to innovation partnerships. Thus the head of SpaceX chose to accept the proposal.
In the CAC magazine, he authored the piece titled "Believing in Technology for a Better Future" This section focuses on the forthcoming humanoid robot from the massive EV manufacturer.
However, Musk's goal is for them to provide services for millions of families, such as cooking, mowing lawns, and looking after the elderly.
He continued by saying that if the Optimus bots could become intelligent enough to develop, Tesla and other partner businesses would be able to build the human-like machines in large quantities.
The billionaire hasn't unveiled the official Tesla Optimus prototype. But he promised that they would reveal the initial one this year.

Musk then pointed out some unique aspects of the design, Newsweek said.
The Tesla Bot will be able to "close to the height and weight of an adult" because it will "carry or pick up heavy objects," according to Musk. Additionally, it can "walk fast in small steps." The robot will also have a screen on its face to interact with humans.
The CEO of Tesla noted that the robot's goal is to replace people in monotonous, risky, and repetitive work.
The first humanoid robot prototype will be created this year, the tech mogul added.
Tesla will be able to address the issue of "large-scale production." thanks to the prototype.

How Tesla Optimus Would Fit
ZD Net said that how a humanoid robot fits into Tesla's economic model may be a more important topic, and the solution isn't quite obvious.
Musk made it quite apparent that the intention is to use home robots someday to target the consumer market.
But except from a few significant exceptions, the most notable being iRobot's Roomba-that market has proven to be thrifty and hasn't really evolved.
Of course, it doesn't mean the market won't change, and it's reasonable to assume that once Amazon bought iRobot, a lot of marketing will go that way.
But it's a long way from a robot vacuum to a humanoid robot, and a lot has to happen in terms of technological advancement and cost of manufacture to make that possibility a reality.
Most likely, Musk is setting up Tesla to take part in the battle in the decades to come.
It remains to be seen if the company's enthusiasm in development will withstand what will almost probably be a letdown following the recent excitement (humanoid robots just aren't ready for primetime when it comes to executing a range of basic duties in unstructured contexts).
