Pneumonia Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Pneumonia is an infection caused in the lungs. In pneumonia the minute air sacs inside the lungs get swollen and breathing becomes difficult. Germs like viruses, bacteria, fungi etc cause pneumonia.

Treatment of pneumonia depends on how severe it is. Pneumonia can also be treated at home with the help of antibiotics. Having complete rest and drinking lots of fluids also help in curing pneumonia. Staying healthy helps you to promptly recover from pneumonia. You can get yourself treated by following simple steps like:

1. Drinking ample of fluids like water, fruit juices etc to keep you body from dehydration and loosen secretion

2. Take complete rest and avoid any home or work tension

3. Don't take any medicines before consulting your doctor.

Don't hesitate to get admitted in a hospital if you:

1. Have severe chest pain or other paining symptoms

2. No effect of antibiotics
