Avengers Age of Ultron Cast News, Rumors, and Release: Will New Movie Trump Predecessor?

Beware! In May 2005, superhero movie lovers around the world will be the obvious targets of the Avengers gang, as they will be showing in worldwide movie theaters through the Avengers' next sequel, Age of Ultron.

As many of us might know it, the 2012's superhero film The Avengers is known to have gained popularity all over the word. It was so successful that on the opening weekend alone it grossed $207 million in the US. It positioned itself the highest grossing 2012 film and the third among the highest grossing films at all times. It grossed $623.4 million in North America and $895.2 million in other countries, for a worldwide total of $1.518 billion. That number has also made the film the highest grossing superhero film, the highest grossing comic book adaptation and the highest grossing film ever released by the Walt Disney.

This time, through his 160-minute movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon is challenging to break the previous numbers. As reported by Bloomberg, it has been said that the sequel will generate even more money, as Age of Ultron is predicted to gross $217 million for its opening in the US. That is roughly $10 million more than that of the first sequel.

The filming began in early 2014, taking place in several different countries but with its production focused in London.

Some of the lead characters are making their comeback here and the stars will be the same people. They are played by Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye). There will also be some new lead characters that weren't in the previous sequel, like the newly recruited members Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Almost nothing has been known about the plot except for this time the threat is coming from The Indomitable Android Ultron. Some sources are trying to reveal more about it, but no one can confirm the validity of the rumors.
