For a very long time, many people have been wondering whether or not there are really aliens in outer space. A UFO whistleblower and military witness says that there is indeed evidence of their existence and that it was hidden within the US government.

Non-Human Intelligence

According to Live Science, a military witness recently talked to Congress about how the US government was actually hiding evidence of "non-human intelligence." The UFO whistleblower gave his insights during a congressional hearing on July 26.

UFOs, otherwise known as unidentified flying objects, can also go by the name of UAPs, or unidentified anomalous phenomena. The term UAPs are much widely used today since they cover a wider range more than just flying objects.

UAPs have been the subject of scrutiny from the US government due to many witnesses coming forward, revealing that they pose a national security threat. On July 26, the House of Representatives Subcommittee on National Security at the Border and Foreign Affairs initiated a hearing.

The hearing was held in Washington and involved three key witnesses, including two US Navy aviators and a US military combat veteran and intelligence officer of the Pentagon. These witnesses included David Grusch, Ryan Graves, and David Fravor, wherein the latter made earlier claims picked up by Space regarding the US Department of Defence having secret UFO-investigating programs.

Transparency Demanded

Representative Glenn Grothman demanded that the Department of Defense provide more transparency regarding UAPs. Another representative, Rep. Tim Burchette, highlighted the Pentagon and said that people in the government works for the public and should act accordingly.

Rep. Burchette also highlighted how the issue was about government transparency, saying that people wouldn't be able to trust a government that, in turn, also doesn't trust them. The Representative emphasized how the main concern was "government transparency."

Live Science reports how Grusch claimed that somebody told him about a program that spanned multiple decades regarding the retrieval and reverse-engineering of a UAP crash. He said that he didn't have access, which led him to file a whistleblower complaint.

From 2019 to 2021, Gursch worked with the UAP Task Force, which was a short-lived part of the Pentagon. He said that he received information from people who had a "longstanding track record of legitimacy" and commented on their service to the country.

Gursch noted that they showed him photos, documents, and classified oral testimony.

Discrediting the Whistleblower

According to AP News, the UFO whistleblower pointed out how the Pentagon tried to hide their program and any discoveries pertaining to UFOs but the government declined this. Sue Gogh, a spokeswoman for the Defense Department, said that there was no "verifiable information" discovered by the investigators that confirms the alleged programs.

However, the statement didn't directly address the matter of whether the UFOs were suspected to be extraterrestrial objects. Gursch shared how there were tactics against him, trying to professionally and personally hurt him.
