There has been a growing number of UFO or UAP sightings in recent years. One physicist from Harvard shared his take on it.
UFO or UAP Could Be Traveling From Hidden Extra-Spatial Dimension
Avi Loeb, a Harvard scientist, appeared in the new documentary "The Paranormal UFO Connection." According to him, we would be awe-struck if alien technology reached our doorsteps because they were so advanced and had something we didn't possess.
"It's like a cave dweller coming to a city like London or Europe and seeing all the technological gadgets there," Loeb said. There will be a sense of religious awe, and we wouldn't understand it, especially if we are dealing with the effects of quantum gravity that we have any clue about."
The expert added that the aliens probably traveled through extra-spatial dimensions, which meant that there was a slim chance of collision. He also believed that the CERN scientists were already aware and may have attempted to detect the "extra spatial" dimension and looked for particles or evidence supporting its existence.
The subterranean LHC opened for business on Sept. 10, 2008, near the French-Swiss border.
It was precisely a century ago when quantum mechanics was discovered. Additionally, our comprehension of quantum mechanics is the foundation for the most advanced technology we use today, like the Internet, artificial intelligence, and so on, per Loeb. However, there are still many significant mysteries in contemporary physics. Thus, the learning process is not complete.
For the past few decades, the dominant paradigm in theoretical physics has been that unifying quantum mechanics and gravity is impossible without involving "extra-spatial dimensions."
Loeb added that in our daily lives, we only come across three of them. However, the others are supposed to be curled. Furthermore, unless we launch particles with extraordinarily high energies that will explore these tiny scales, we actually can't detect them.
"Of course, if there are extra dimensions, then the reality that we are familiar with extends into them. Then, one can imagine life in more than three spatial dimensions. It will be far more diverse and interesting," he added.
AI a Candidate For Great Filter
Meanwhile, artificial intelligence (AI) may have also contributed to our lack of close encounters with aliens or extraterrestrials. According to a recent report, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) could become universal and be the "Great Filter."
The Great Filter is only a theory. However, it makes sense logically and offers a solid resolution to the Fermi Paradox.
The Fermi Paradox is the lack of evidence for extraterrestrial life in a universe that, according to statistical calculations, should be teeming with it. But, the Great Filter is said to be why we don't find any proof of extraterrestrial technology or hear voices coming from space using our radio telescopes.
According to The Great Filter, intelligent lifeforms in interstellar space must undergo a number of essential stages, at least one of which needs to be incredibly implausible. The main argument of The Great Filter is that virtually no species can pass through at least one barrier, making it impossible for them to cross.
