Some people are already using digital clones to represent themselves at work, according to a report. And more are expected to do the same in the future.
Digital Clones at Work
Individuals from all over the world are already making digital "clones" to work on their behalf in the real world, so they may continue to live luxurious lives while earning multimillion dollar salaries.
Online creators, influencers, and business professionals are using Delphi to build "clones" of themselves, teaching their digital persona to interact exactly like the actual person, according to Dara Ladjevardian, co-founder of Delphi.
Customers can purchase additional services, such as a clone phone number, for an additional fee. The company charges a monthly subscription for digital clones, ranging from $19 to $399.
Influencers can connect their digital works to Spotify, Instagram, and other apps, but Delphi charges a 10 - 15% commission for doing so.
According to Ladjevardian, clients visit Delphi's "Clone Studio" to produce a digital clone of themselves.
"The clone will learn how they think about the world," per Ladjevardian. "We have a readiness score to show how 'ready' a clone is in representing that person."
Customers can upload their voice so the clone can also pick up their speech. To prevent persons from making unauthorized clones or impersonate other people, customers must present an ID picture to Delphi before the company will create the "clone."
According to Ladjevardian, experts and coaches are using the service to reach a wider audience.
An infinite number of people can now receive customized instruction at a significantly lower cost (or for free) from coaches or specialists whose time is typically quite expensive, he added.
Ladjevardian thinks that everyone will have a clone in the future. According to the co-founder, they will be releasing video calling by the end of May, where one can send their clone to a Zoom or Google Meet to conduct meetings on their behalf, take minutes and collect information.
AI Clones in Japan With Artificial Consciousness
Alt.AI has created 100 artificial intelligence clones that can converse on behalf of the original staff while ingesting data from emails, Slack, and other interactions. Even when staff members are on vacation, the corporation pays the clones to continue working.
Alt.AI claims to have the world's first and only compensation system that allows employees to get paid more depending on how productive their AI clones are.
Last year, the business produced a photo-real video clone of Dentsu Digital President Kou Takimoto, saying it possesses "artificial consciousness."
The cloned boss, according to Alt.AI, can converse with regular employees about his "personality, thoughts, management philosophy, and other topics that are normally difficult for employees to ask questions about or communicate with."
Customers of the start-up Coachvox.AI pay as much as $47 a month to access a digital version of themselves that provides business and life coaching based on the real person's ideas.
Clone algorithms like ChatGPT are inferior to clones trained on an individual's YouTube channel and opinions, according to Jodie Cook, founder of Coachvox.AI, who spoke with DailyMail.com.
