On Thursday, the first 2024 presidential debate brought Joe Biden and Donald Trump together. However, the face-off sparked Biden to be using performance-enhancing drugs.
Joe Biden Using Performance Enhancing Drugs Makes No Sense
Fox News hosts and conservative lawmakers argued with no evidence that President Joe Biden would be administered some performance-enhancing drugs before his debate against Trump Thursday. Trump administration even asked that Biden be drug tested.
Controversial GOP Rep Ronny Jackson also released a statement demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans asking Biden to submit a drug test before and after the debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs.
However, according to Dr. Paul Newhouse, director of the Center for Cognitive Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the allegations that Biden would use performance-enhancing drugs during the debate made no sense. He also believed that the unfounded charges were based on the speculations that Biden had some cognitive impairment. His critics were convinced he needed medication or drug therapy to perform properly on the debate platform. However, the expert said this makes no sense in terms of medicine.
Newhouse pointed out that there is no available data supporting the claim that Biden has a clinical cognitive impairment and last year, his physician provided him with a clear report. Thus, no scientific evidence supports the assumption that using pharmaceuticals will enhance his cognitive abilities or debate performance.
Newhouse spent decades researching the impacts of possible cognitive boosting drugs for use in the treatment of cognitive and neurodegenerative illnesses, and he has not come across any data to support the idea that these drugs would enhance debate or public speaking.
He added that, if anything, trying to employ the small number of medications they have created could make it harder for a healthy person to operate cognitively.

Joe Biden's Memory Is Fine
The 81-year-old Democrat's health has been the subject of various speculations. There were allegations that his memory was "hazy," "fuzzy," "faulty," and "poor."
Some alleged that he couldn't recall when his son Beau died or when he served as vice president. However, the POTUS has since denied it.
According to Biden, his memory is "fine." He was also visibly upset about the allegations that he couldn't remember his son's death. Beaut died of brain cancer in 2015. He was 46.
Biden has been targeted by his critics due to his age and bizarre behaviors. Last month, a music video set to Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" resurfaced.
The clip was a jab against Biden. It poked fun at the president's old age and alleged that he has dementia. It also accused Biden of making lies, sniffing children, and walking the wrong way.
"How can he run when walking is hard?" the song plays.
It also featured clips of Biden stumbling on multiple outings while the words "Keep falling" repeatedly appeared.
