Ulike has unveiled new hair removal devices at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) 2025 Annual Meeting this week that are both affordable and gaining recognition from the medical field.
The hair removal devices from Ulike use IPL technology, which essentially uses broad-spectrum light to zap hair follicles to achieve permanent or semi-permanent hair removal. The treatment is especially popular with women wanting to remove air on their legs, bikini lines, armpits, or on the face. Men are also increasingly using this technology to remove chest, armpit, and back hair.

While IPL is the preferred method of clinical hair removal, advancements in technology are seeing an increasingly sophisticated handheld fleet of devices designed for at-home use.
Ulike recently showcased its growing line of at-home IPL hair removal devices at AAD 2025, and were even endorsed at the event by the likes of renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Adam J. Rubinstein, who called them "exceptional and compatible with a greater range of skin tones and hair types."

The latest product from Ulike is the Air 10, its most advanced hair removal device to date. Retailing at $339, the Air 10 delivers professional-grade IPL technology that reduces hair density by 96% in two weeks using Dual Lights and SHR Mode. Its treatment is virtually painless, and an enhanced flashing speed allows for full body treatment in just 10 minutes.
With similar effectiveness but fewer bells and whistles and a lower price tag of $239, the Air 3 completes full-body sessions in just 12 minutes and reduces hair density by up to 93% within four weeks.

For men, Ulike has designed the Air X ($349), which features dual lights that output 57% higher energy than standard IPL devices to remove stubborn and coarse hairs more effectively.
Ulike products are sold on its website marketplace, along with Amazon, Best Buy, Nordstrom, and other retailers.
