Samsung Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S8 Plus: Specification, Colors And Release Date

When it comes to the most anticipated device of 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 surely can be considered as one of them. In the following discussion, the specifications and features of these smartphones are discussed.

Based on the latest reports by Yahoo, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8 inch full HD display. Samsung Galaxy S8 plus will come with a 6.2inch HD display with high resolution of 2960×1440. This larger display will really suitable for playing games and watching movies.

Security analyst Ming-chi Kuo confirmed that both smartphones will have full-screen HD display with no physical button and all model equipped with 3D curved cover glass. Both smartphones are expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor. In order to make the processes swift and easy the phone will come with a 4GB ram and the amount of internal storage is 64 GB reported by BGR.

Camera wise, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly sport a 12-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The battery capacity is around 3000 mAh for Galaxy S8 and 3500 mAh for Galaxy S8 plus. Both the devices will run on Android Nougat 7.0.

Also worth mentioning Kuo's also claim that the S8 will be released in seven colors like silver, gold, black, matte black, blue, orchid, and pink. According to him, there will be four modules mounted next to each other on the back of the device. These features are the main camera (middle of the four), fingerprint scanner module (right), camera flash (top left), and heart beat measurement (bottom left).

Samsung was eagerly waiting for April in order to release Samsung S8 and S8 Plus. Lastly, Kuo writes that the S8 will hit store shelves on April 21. If any concerns raised by a recent rumor that the launch date may have been pushed back to April 28.
