The successor of OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T was launched in December 2016 with two color options Soft Gold and Gunmetal. Out of the two variants, the 64 GB variant was available in both the colors while the 128 GB variant was only available in Gunmetal color. According to OnePlus' latest teaser, the company is expected to launch a new blue color variant of its latest smartphone.
As written in BGR, OnePlus has something special in store for its fans on March 15 and it might be a blue colour variant of OnePlus 3T. OnePlus on their Twitter, teased the launch of something new which will be in collaboration with Colette. There was a blue background of the image and the date 3/15/17 written in white colour. Colette is a French smartphone accessory retailer and it is suspected that OnePlus could be coming up with lifestyle products in collaboration with Colette.
There might a big announcement on a new range of accessories and products launch of joined venture. Other than producing one of the highly featured smartphones in the industry (currently it is OnePlus 3T), OnePlus is also known for its accessories like a custom back covers and earphones. Talking about the terms of lifestyle products, the company has its branded gear that also includes t-shirts and bags.
As written in News18, OnePlus 3T is powered by 64-bit 2.35 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It features a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. There is 16-megapixel primary camera with 4K video recording and 16-megapixel selfie camera with 1080p video recording.
OnePlus will launch its flagship phone OnePlus 5 this year. In Chinese tradition, number 4 is unlucky so they will be skipping the name OnePlus 4. OnePlus 5 is expected to compete with Samsung Galaxy S8.
