AMD Is Working On The Gigantic Version Of Ryzen CPU Having 16 Core And 32 Thread

After the enormous success from the next-gen Ryzen batch of CPUs, now AMD is working on the next Batch of Ryzen processors. It has been speculated that the latest batch is the broad variant of the recent batch of Ryzen Models.

These upcoming Ryzen processors are featured with a 16-core, 32-threads. AMD is expected to unveil their upcoming potential flagship very soon.

In this regard, Digital trends asserted that AMD is trying to fabricate the chip with a greater number of cores i.e. 16 cores and 32 threads, especially for the high-end multi-threaded desktop applications. Claimed report informed that the chip powered by X399 chipsets and also support quad channel DDR4 memory devices.

AMD's newest platform is expected to come with Land Grid Array (LGA) socket SP3r2. This newest processor will offer a clock speed at 2.4 GHz base frequency and able to overclock at 2.8 GHz. The inbuilt quad channel memory bus offers more no. of PCI-E ports and through this numerous storage devices and graphics cards can be connected.

According to Forbes, the size of the platform is twice of the Intel Core i7-6950X which has only 10 cores and 20 threads. Recently AMD's flagship Ryzen 7 1800X outperformed at Intel's Core i7-6950X in different tests.

So AMD is now trying to compete for high-end performance against Intel's extreme level processors. So they planned to use this CPU as a testing ground for their all-new X399 chipset before the upcoming flagship battle.

This massive sized AMD processor has required thermal design power or TDP of 150W for running. Pricing for this potential flagship chip is expected to be around the $1,000. This AMD's mega-chip will be unwrapping within four to six months.

In August 2017 it has been expected that Intel also going to release Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X chips. So this new chip of AMD could be the potential competitor of them.
