Microsoft has unveiled their newest Xbox controllers and they are wireless, inspired from the military. It is the first controller from Microsoft's Wireless Controller Tech Series.
Microsoft has stated that the Wireless Controller Tech Series will start shipping on April 25, worldwide. The Recon Tech Special Edition will be available for $70, The Verge reported. The price is the same as the standard price for special color controllers. The enhanced Xbox One controllers will definitely be more accurate and comfortable for the users especially during intense multiplayer matches.
The new Xbox controllers, which are military inspired, comes with a laser-etched gray front with gold accents and insignia. The back has textured diamond with rubberized grips. The design is originally inspired from military tech and sci-fi gears. There are more to come before the holidays as Microsoft is gearing up for its scheduled Project Scorpio launch. Though other controllers are not yet revealed, fans should definitely anticipate for it.
These specialized controllers that Microsoft recently announced also have the same features like the one, fans know and like of the Xbox Wireless Controller. It will include a new and improved wireless range and Bluetooth technology for gaming on Windows 10 devices. It will also feature an improved Samsung Gear VR. There will also be a custom button-mapping feature through the Xbox Accessories App, stated Digital Trends. It can be bought or downloaded at Xbox Store or Windows Store.
Gamers will be much happier because this new Xbox controller is compatible with the upcoming Copilot feature on Xbox One. Microsoft intended to do it for starter gamers and for more customization of the key configurations to play. For those who do not want to spend money, they can get the Copilot feature through a creators update later this year.
This new Xbox controller of Microsoft in the Wireless Controller Tech Series are the follow-up of last year's paddle-equipped Elite Wireless Controller. Last year, there was another controller that was released, color-customizable Design Lab controllers for the Xbox One. Gamers will now have more wireless controllers for Xbox to choose from.
