Microsoft Plans For Spring Event: May Possibly Showcase Devices, Software, & Phones Except Surface Book 2

Microsoft is reportedly planning for a huge hardware event ending Spring 2017. Check out what Surface tablets and phones will be announced.

The Verge reported that the Microsoft will be holding a Spring event 2017, and to be particular it will be a Surface hardware event, will be scheduled before the end of Spring. At the moment, Microsoft has not yet announced where the event would take place, but usually, Microsoft's events are set in New York.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Surface Book 2 is reportedly not yet ready for the event. Business Insider also reported the same instances with regards to the absence of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 at the event. Eventually, the presence of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is still unconfirmed at the coming event.

The current report is contradicting the earlier reports claiming that a cheaper version of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is coming in the next few weeks. However, Microsoft has not made an announcement yet regarding the delay of the Surface Book 2.

To recall, Microsoft launched the Surface Book in 2015 for the first time. This was followed by the release of the Microsoft Surface Studio PC in December 2016. Yet unclear, this might be the possible reason why Microsoft will unlikely unveil another major update in the Surface hardware event.

On the other hand, Microsoft is said to be planning to unveil its second version of HoloLens and go straight with version three. HoloLens is a hologram headset that lets the user hear, see as well as interact with the virtual environment inside a room.

Additionally, Microsoft may feature at the event its purposeful release of the free Windows 10 Creators Update at the Spring event. Aside from the absence of the Microsoft Surface Book 2, there is no clear statement of which devices would be announced at the event. If Microsoft does not confirm any of the Surface devices' upgraded version, then for what purpose might be the event for hence its called Surface Hardware Event?
