Adidas is embarking on another era of shoe production for this year. As the competition for the best foot apparel is getting tougher, the multinational shoe company is presenting its latest model called Futurecraft 4D. So, what this newest shoe will feature to consumers?
For over the years, Adidas have designed and manufactured shoes, clothes and accessories making them a household name when it comes to sportswear line. According to Engadget, Adidas will launch the Futurecraft 4D that will be going undergoing mass production this year up to next year. The new 3D-printed midsole of shoes will be the first one to use the "Digital Light Synthesis" manufactured by Carbon. The new technology will feature a liquid material that will make 3D items burst into light.
The new shoes are the upgraded version of the 3D Adidas sneakers that was already presented last year. The said 3D-printed shoes were released in small numbers but this time around, Adidas made sure that the Futurecraft 4D shoes will have 300 pairs as initial production. By fall or winter, they expect that they can produce 5,000 pairs and an estimated 100,000 pairs by end of 2018.
Aside from the Digital Light Synthesis technology, the Futurecraft 4D will also have a feature that will benefit its consumers. According to BGR, the latest 4D Adidas shoes will have sizes that will suit to people based on their weight. Meaning, the new shoes will have same sizes but with a different kind of weight, load depending on the customer's weight.
Though the latest shoes from Adidas have this new features, the characteristic of it will still be the same which is more flexible with a customized appeal. For now, the Futurecraft 4D is something to watch out for as the supply might not last longer due to the predicted high demand for it.
