According to TechPorn, the AMD Ryzen 5 is expected to follow the award-winning performance of the Ryzen 7 especially now that the chip had been tested for its performance against the Intel Core i5 7th generation. AMD launched all of the four models of the AMD Ryzen 5 for desktop along with the best performance and reasonable price.
Several reviews were performed and showed that the AMD Ryzen 5 is packed with high-performance innovation to gamers and creators all over the globe. The tests show that the Ryzen 5 beats the Intel Core i5 at the performance rate of 87% after comparing AMD Ryzen 5 1600X with the Intel Core i5 model.
Another claims similar performance rate of the AMD Ryzen 5 against the i5 model from Intel. ITWire reported that the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X model has 87% better performance when compared with the 7th generation of the Core i5 7600K processor which is another proof of the Ryzen 5 advantages.
