The EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 graphics card was unveiled last month. Here are the promising specs and features of the ferocious graphics card.
It has been a month since EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 had been announced with faster memory clocks. The ferocious graphics card was noted on its extremely fast memory clocks of up to 11GHz covering up to 352GB/s memory bandwidth.
According to PCGamer, two of EVGA's GTX 1080 Ti models have lower bandwidths but has an even fatter 352-bit bus that results to around 484GB/s of bandwidth as well as more memory. Besides, the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 runs with 1,556MHZ base clock and a boost clock of 1,670MHZ.
On a review performed by PCWorld, it was noted that before performing additional overclocking, the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2, the graphics card might be unintentionally reached 1,850MHz clock speeds in some games. The EVGA's revolutionary ICX was also present with the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 after getting debuted in the GTX FTW2.
The EVGA's ICX has the capability to load not only one, two, but up to nine additional sensors to monitor the rear of the GPU, power controllers and memory modules keeping tracks of every aspect of the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2. Aside from tracking temperatures, the ICX also control the speeds of the graphics card using its comprehensive data and adjust the speeds to keep the PWMs and memory cool.
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 is so fortunate to have equipped with EVGA ICX. Additionally, the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 has three RGB lights above its logo which indicates the heat of memory, GPU, and PWMs. When any of these three components heat up, the lights will change color. While the colors can be customized using Precision XOC.
No wonder the EGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 is a premium graphics card which also features and extremely sturdy backplate. Currently, its price starts at $719.99 up to $749.99 and is available on Amazon.
