iPhone 8 Dummy model Images Leak With Edge-To-Edge Display, No Rear Touch ID Sensor, Elongated Power Button

The iPhone 8, Apple's upcoming flagship mobile phone, is in the news once more. Speculations relating to the forthcoming handset have been circulating online regularly and tech buffs have several rumors on the design of the gadget. The iPhone 8 is said to include a few design changes and include new components or features when compared with the previous emphasis. The Cupertino-based company is apparently removing the home button from the front to expand the display size and decrease bezels.

Fans have been left marveling how Apple plans to contain the Touch ID sensor, which was beforehand housed on the home button itself. Rumors have also indicated the gadget wearing an edge-to-edge display. New leaked images, accepted to be the iPhone 8'sdummy model, may finally offer some data with respect to the forthcoming mobile phone's design, Mashable cited.

Tipster Benjamin Geskin posted the pictures or images of the claimed iPhone 8 models on Twitter. Previous speculations proposed that the iPhone 8 will either sport an aluminum body or a sandwiched glass design, as per 9t05Mac. Notwithstanding, the most recent leak displays the model bearing a stainless steel and glass design, and also wearing an edge-to-edge display with no bezels. Strangely, the back panel of the dummy model does not display the Touch ID sensor.

This proposes Apple could include the technology under the display itself. Past spilled pictures, however, recommended that the back panel of the iPhone 8 had a spot saved for the Touch ID sensor. The front display flaunted in the renders shows a dark screen without any bezels, while the headphone slot appears of being situated on the top, around the center. But, the camera design and position can't be seen from the photos. The sides of the forthcoming mobile phone seem to have a polished stainless steel finish, much like the iPhone 4.

The Volume and mute buttons can be seen on the left-hand side, while the power switch and the SIM tray are visible to one side. The only prominent distinction is that the power switch looks somewhat longer than past versions. Geskin also revealed later that the upcoming gadget will be 7.1 millimeters thick and will wear similar dimensions from the iPhone 7. The mobile phone will apparently wear a Space Black finish. The truth of the spilled images is discreet and these renders could most likely be one of the models or prototypes that Apple considered while manufacturing the forthcoming mobile phone.
