The reviewer, Borja Rodríguez, spotted the GeForce GT 1030 EXOC White and he decided to test the product. In his review, he noted that the graphics card is designated to be an entry level product for multimedia and gaming. The GeForce GT 1030 EXOC White is an overclocked graphics card, using the GP108-300 graphics chip from NVIDIA with 384 CUDA cores of the Pascal GPU architecture. powered by a 2GB DDR5 RAM with 6,000MHz memory speed.

GeForce GT 1030 is a very slim graphics card with only 6.37x4.76x0.86 inches in dimension. It also has a low power consumption with maximum 30 watts. As an entry level graphics card, GeForce GT 1030 is sold at the price of $87.

KFA2, previously known as Galaxy Technology, recently offers a product lineup of GeForce GTX 10 series. The new GTX 10 products are ranging from high-end graphics card GTX 1080, and the lower level, the mid-end GTX 1050. However, KFA2 does not putGeForce GT 1030 on the list of the new product.

GT and GTX Series.including the GeForce GT 1030, uses the new Pascal GPU architecture, which introduced in May 2016, as the replacement to NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture. The Pascal architecture runs on CUDA parallel computing platform, providing a system-on-chip layer that offers a very fast graphics processing technology. The CUDA platform is an equivalent of the stream processing platform from AMD in its Radeon series, the main competitor of GeForce.

The latest series of GeForce GTX uses the FinFET 3D transistor, but the GeForce GT 1030 has not implemented technology. The GTX flagship product, GeForce GTX 1080, also incorporates the new GDDR5X technologies for faster graphics processing. Unfortunately, many reviewers doubt the mid-end products of the GTX 10 series in term of its VRAM sufficiency. Watch the review from Digital Foundry regarding the GTX 1060 series below:
