New OnePlus 5 Smartphone Leaks Confirm Absence Of 3.5mm Audio Jack

The OnePlus 5 from the Chinese firm will be their next flagship device for 2017. As reported earlier, the company has skipped the number '4' part of their release schedule since it is considered unlucky in the Chinese tradition. New rumors about the smartphone have been surfacing the internet revealing more information about their upcoming device.

The OnePlus 5 as per fresh reports from Android Headlines will also feature vertically aligned cameras on the back side of the smartphone. The same is also rumored to be present on the upcoming iPhone 8 from Apple. The report seems to mention that the phone will have a metal build providing a comfortable handling experience for the user.

The OnePlus 5 smartphone also is equipped with a dual-tone LED flash alongside a noise-cancelling microphone which will help in recording videos in an outdoor environment mainly surrounded by the common public. According to details from the website, the device will be offered in two shades of black, the Midnight black and pure black. Earlier prototypes have also showcased the smartphone in a color choice of Silver.

DxO is the same company that reports the quality of cameras on all smartphones released to the markets. The report reveals no other details about the partnership between two firms but that said, DxO will be contributing to the imaging components for the new smartphone.

At the moment, the only known specifications for the OnePlus 5 is the fact that it will feature the newly released Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm alongside 8GB of RAM possibly, and a battery capacity of 3000mAh or more.
