Attractiveness Determined By Body Smell & Voice Plays Vital Role: Not Body Look

A person who is good looking is considered an attractive person, this is what maximum times the human mind thinks. But if this fact discussed deeply, this is not the key point for determining the attractiveness of human body. A new research study has revealed that apart from the good look, human body smell and voice plays a vital role in terms of attractiveness.

As CNN cited, researchers have studied a total of 73 studies on attractiveness from the year 1977 to till date and found out that body odor and voice are the most important points in determining attractiveness. The 73 studies were based on the importance of visual, auditory and olfactory cues of different persons.

The research study was carried out at the University of Wroclaw located in Poland. Agata Groyecka, who is a researcher at the university, led the whole study with other team members. It was found in the study that attractiveness is not just determined by the looks, i.e. only one factor cannot determine a person's attractiveness.

Multiple factors are included in judging the attractiveness of human beings, which include body smell and voice as key factors. Wtax News reported that the research study was published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology. The researchers revealed that the body odors, which are rated pleasant and sexier than others, are likely to attract people to have a date or flirt.

Body odors which are unpleasant can prove to be discouraging to engage in a relationship. Attractiveness by person's voice includes judging about the person's sex, age, dominance, emotional state, cooperativeness, physical strength as well as fertility. Body odor also holds clues to a person's health. It is so because, certain diseases are associated with body smell such as diabetes, typhoid fever, scrofula etc.
