Huawei Watch 2 Classic Review: Pros and Cons Of The Android Wear In Depth

Huawei Watch was obviously a sensational creation altogether in terms of Android watches. The smart gear took many of its fans with its ethnic look coupled with high-end specs. Therefore, when the company launched the next installment of it: Huawei Watch 2, a number of the Android wear enthusiasts were disappointed as Huawei left out the sporty mark for equipping better features in the new device. However, Huawei Wear 2 made its own unique identification in the world of smart wears, alongside another revamped version of it named: Huawei Watch 2 Classic.

Huawei Watch 2 Classic is now available in the United States and it comes with more advanced specs than the original Huawei Watch 2. Huawei Watch 2 boasts a plastic and rubber combined strap. Whereas, Huawei Watch 2 Classic comes with metal-rubber built strap which comes with more protective measures for it usage in diverse conditions like harsh weather, muddy roads etc. According to TNW, Huawei Watch 2 Classic sports improved sensors, better display, revamped processing unit and more sensitive heartbeat sensor.

Additionally, sweat absorption is an intriguing aspect of Huawei Watch 2 Classic, as the metallic belt absorbs sweat and other unessential particles. But perhaps there are certain software-based measures, where Huawei Watch 2 Classic stays backwards instead of its newest attributes. Google has already launched Android Wear 2.0, but the classic edition of Huawei Watch lacks the compatibility for this software update. PC World noted in this context that the smart wear's closest rivals: LG Sport and Style run on Android Wear 2.0.

Besides all these, Huawei has placed some special advancements with its latest watch as well in terms of its battery life. Huawei Watch 2 Classic holds 420 mAh battery which runs for a whole day on a single charge. Huawei Watch 2 Classic is now selling on Amazon, New Egg and with many well-known retailers. The smart gear comes with a price tag of $369.99.
