The highly-anticipated OnePlus 5 is once again making headlines in the news. Latest reports are saying that OnePlus' flagship smartphone for this year will feature the best camera quality and a new design. The basis of the reports came after a camera shot teaser of the said device leaked online.
OnePlus is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer and one of the newest player in the mobile industry. Founded in 2013, it is currently a rising brand in the market offering high-end smartphones at an affordable price. Presently, it has manufactured five devices with its OnePlus handset product lines, not including the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone.
OnePlus 5 is the successor to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T that was only released last year. It is reportedly the official flagship handset for the OnePlus company this year and rumors are saying that it boasts again with remarkable specs. Now, reports are spreading that its camera quality apparently is the key feature of the device.
According to XDA Developers, it appears that OnePlus 5 focuses on making its camera quality one to be jealous of after images are taken from its camera leaked online. The camera shot teaser shows four images allegedly pictures taken from its camera illustrating the quality of it. Apparently, the teaser is said to be also showing the device's slimmer and updated design.
Just last month, OnePlus announced that they tap the services of DxO Labs, the owner of DxOMark camera benchmarking site, to develop a camera for the OnePlus 5 smartphone. Reports are saying that the tie-up between the two companies is related to OnePlus' desire to have an improved camera and focus on to its photography aspect.
Meanwhile, Phone Arena further added that there is an indication that one of OnePlus 5 dual camera will shoot in a monochrome setting based on the leaked camera samples. With the help of monochrome sensor, it can distinguish the light angles for better picture result. The leaked images also further confirm the existence of two rear cameras for the said device.
Leaked specs of OnePlus 5 says that it will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8. This means that it will allow more light to come into the device in order to get more remarkable shot and precise photos.
