However, the reported iOS 10.3.2 software of the device is not designed to run the latest Windows 10 operating system. Aside from that, the missing trackpad on Smart Keyboard will make it hard for owners to maneuver around.

On the other hand, the latest Microsoft Surface Pro is packed with a 7th generation Intel Core Kaby Lake chipset (m3, i5 or i7) with 4GB to 16GB of RAM and a 128GB to 1TB internal storage. It also has a 12.3-inch PixelSense display (2736 x 1824 pixel) with a 3:2 aspect ratio. But the device already has the latest Windows 10 OS and its Signature Type Cover keyboard has the built-in trackpad. With that, the Surface Pro edges out the Apple iPad Pro as a laptop replacement.

Though the latest Microsoft Surface Pro narrowly defeat the Apple iPad Pro in some areas, it will still up to customers who will they buy according to TIME. Some key aspects should also be considered pertaining to the price and convenience between them.

The latest Microsoft Surface Pro pricing starts at $799 while the Apple iPad Pro will initially cost $649. Furthermore, the iPad Pro is more handy base on its dimension as against the Surface Pro. With this, consumers will have to choose which is convenient and useful for them.
