A recent report indicates that Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu will roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat for its handsets. Smartphones of this company are still running the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
According to Phones Daily, the Flyme operating system of Meizu is still based on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. One Important fact is many Chinese competitors have already availed the latest Android update. Most probably Meizu will soon announce the Flyme OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat update for its smartphones.
Previous reports suggested that Meizu would celebrate the fifth anniversary of its operating system, Flyme, on June 25 and might announce the Android 7.0 Nougat. The Chinese manufacturer has built many affordable handsets. The key designer of the Flyme OS, Yang Yan, previously indicated about the Android 7.0 update's existence on Weibo.
The designer also added that Meizu would unveil more information about the Android 7.0 update. The Official WeChat member of Flyme has revealed some important facts regarding this new update. The official member earlier indicated that from June 25 owners of the Meizu handsets must be able to register for the Android 7.0 Nougat. The process will continue till July 2.
Meizu has uncovered the list of the handsets that will get the Android 7.0 update. The smartphones may avail the update after July 10. Meanwhile, the Chinese company has launched a new handset Meizu M5c in May 2017. The phone is packed with a 5-inch display and supports 4G LTE, according to Phone Arena.
The 5-inch display is completely laminated. The new M5c smartphone of Meizu features 2GB RAM, and Dual SIM card slot. The handset has a powerful 3000 mAh battery. The important fact is the phone supports the Flyme 6 custom interface.
