The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Could Feature The Snapdragon 836 SoC, Android 8.0 Oreo: New Leaked Screenshots Revealed

The official confirmation about the unveiling date of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has already surfaced. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi will launch the handset on Sep. 11.

Apart from the unveiling date, no other confirmation has surfaced regarding the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The Mi Mix 2 is the successor of the Mi Mix released in 2016. The interesting fact is several leaks and rumors have already hinted several features of this upcoming handset.

Recently a number of leaked screenshots have increased the hype regarding the upcoming handset the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The leak has suggested that the upcoming handset will feature the Snapdragon 836 SoC, according to the GSMArena. The device will also run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

The most surprising part of this leak related to the Mi Mix 2 is about the existence of the Snapdragon 836 SoC. It is now clear that the unveiling date of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is Sep. 11, 2017. That means very few days are left to get the glimpse of the upcoming handset. But, Qualcomm has not yet officially announced the Snapdragon 836 SoC.

The leaked screenshots have revealed several other key specs. These specs include the 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. No doubt, the display will be bezel less. The images have even revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will feature the 20MP camera on the back.

Most probably the 20MP camera indicates the main sensor because the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 would contain the dual camera setup on the back. A few days ago Android Pure also reported some important features that include the processor about the Mi Mix 2. These features indicated that the handset would contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM 8998 processor.

The handset could be equipped with 8GB or 6GB of RAM. The specs also include a 5MP camera located on the handset's bottom bezel. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will probably feature the IPS LCD display.
