Decasby: Measuring the Distance of the Antarctic Coast can Prove Earth is Flat

ANTARCTICA - For Flat-Earthers, the southernmost continent is not in the south at all. In fact, Flat-Earthers stand by their theory that Antarctica is made of a thick, high, unrelenting wall of ice that protects travelers from falling off the flat disc that the Earth as they believe, is. This means that the wall of ice is presumably bordering the Flat Earth.

The flat Earth model is one of the most archaic concepts believed by many until the present day. Some of the ancient cultures that believed that the Earth is flat included Greece until the classical period, some civilizations in the Near East until the Hellenistic period, China, until the 17th century, and India until the Gupta period. It was Pythagoras who lobbied the idea of a spherical Earth in the sixth century. Later, Aristotle supported the spherical Earth theory with some empirical reasoning by around 330 BC.

Flat Earth theories are being circulated by modern Flat-Earth societies, most of the time with the help of social media and is currently gaining momentum with the increasing interest that the model is gaining. Today's flat-Earthers, including the members of the Flat Earth Society, are claiming that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has been altering their photos and satellite images to show a spherical Earth.

Although the scientific community believes that the Earth is spherical in nature, believers of a flat Earth continue to rally behind the disc model. In their desire to discredit the spherical Earth model, Flat-Earthers have organized a voyage to the Antarctic to prove their theories.

In the hope of revealing the planet's true nature and form, prominent Flat-Earthers announced plans to trek Antarctica. Jay Decasby, one of the most prominent Flat-Earthers, is determined to shut down all the debates once and for all. His plan is to get to the coast of Antarctica and get the distance as they sail around it. this, according to Decasby, is one way to refute the heliocentric ideology.

A documentary entitled "The Flat Earth: To The Edge And Back" is soon to be released and is gathering interest from different people. Logan Paul, a controversial YouTuber is eager to know the facts.
The only thing standing between the Flat-Earthers and their voyage is the Antarctic Treaty of 1961. As the Flat-Earthers has pointed out that the treaty restricts private exploration of the area. However, it also allows freedom over scientific investigation. Details of the Flat-Earthers' voyage and whether their voyage is to be considered scientific or not still remains to be determined.
