Life On Venus: Could It Be True?

People have often been left wondering if life existed in other planets apart from the Earth. The quest to discover more about this possibility has brought man and its exploration to several planets in the Milky Way Galaxy. One of the most concentrated of studies is those concerned with the Red Planet. Although several studies reveal that it is nearly impossible for life to survive on other planets, the curiosity of discovering more about the universe remains.

The presence of extreme temperature and other environmental factors in other planets like Mars makes it nearly impossible for life to survive. The living conditions couldn't be possible for the human being to survive, not even for a second. However, astronomers alongside physicists continue their search for a possibility of life outside of the planet Earth. Brian Cox, an English physicist from the University of Manchester, revealed in his show that the planets show that life might have been possible on the planet Venus, just like how it is here on Earth.

New research revealed facts about the current state of Venus, and it seems as if it were impossible for life to have survived it. Active volcanoes, extreme heat on its surface and the lack of a protective atmosphere on the planet -- all this contribute to the unlivable state that the planet Venus has today, at least not when human and animal life is concerned. Survival on the planet has become nearly impossible. However, extensive research of what Venus was like in the past as revealed by remnants of the life that once survived the planet. Scientists believe that Venus was once a livable planet must like that of the Earth.

This fact is based on the life of the Sun. In the past, when it was young, it was relatively much cooler, similar to Springtime on Earth. Its growth and the massive heat that it was able to accumulate as it got older had a huge impact on the planets surrounding it. This also means that Venus used to be cooler and wetter -- two conditions that basically meant that living things are able to find themselves what they needed to survive. Rivers flowed through the planet, making it a blue planet like that of the Earth.

In fact, history shows that Venus was the first blue planet in space. It came with proper blue clouds, sky and white clouds. Brian Cox also revealed in his show that Mercury and Mars were both blue planets too. The changes in their physical nature, as well as their environmental conditions, have made these planets seemingly impossible to survive in.

As scientists talk about the planet Venus at present, it is a planet that has turned from a blue planet to what seems like an inferno for any form of life. Could this be saying something about what could happen to the planet Earth if global warming continues? The planet leaves scientists and astronomers wondering what could have been if it didn't become such a hot planet.
