It appears that this year's International Consumer Electronic's Show is aiming their sights on new parents-to-be, and with a new set of gadgets to ensure the hippest parents' ease-of-mind, everything from a nightlight to a baby bottle is being redefined.
Now, from the sounds of things, a smart baby bottle holder may sound entirely innocuous, but when French tech company Slow Control is behind the gadget you can be sure that function will be an undeniable facet of this newest gizmo. Their newest innovation, Baby GLGL is a smart bottle equipped with a digital app that lets inquiring parents keep track of exactly how fast, and how much their baby is drinking when it indulges in a snack.
"With its expertise in chrononutrition, and after launching a first device, Slow Control pays attention to the health of babies" spokespersons with Slow Control said in a recent press release. "Slow Control completes its range of devices by presenting BABY GLGL, an intelligent bottle holder for monitor the food behavior of babies."
Perfect for the parent-on-the-go, the bottle holder gives you direct feedback on whether your baby is swallowing too much air, causing a gassy, fussy tantrum in the future, or even whether lumps from powder formula are clogging the bottle and restricting the amount of intake an infant is able to receive.
"Knowing precisely how to feed your baby, BABY GLGL improves significantly your baby's chances of being healthy and growing up in the best conditions" spokespersons with Slow Control say. "Thanks to BABY GLGL, Reflux, colic and diarrhoea risks are limited. Your baby sleeps better, [and] so do you!"
For the working parent, with a knack for pampering their baby, even when you're away from home and the baby is staying with the sitter, the interactive application developed by Slow Control can send updates directly to your smartphone, revealing data about the time of feeding and quantities consumed during their afternoon or evening snack.
Invented by the company's founder Jacques Lépine, the newest tech innovation rounds out Slow Control's group of products focusing on children's health, and with a price tag of about $100 they're sure to be a hot-selling item for techy parents when the devices go on sale early Summer 2015.
