The Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini collaborated with the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi to create an electric go-kart that can drift around corners.

In terms of aesthetics, the Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini looks mostly similar to Xiaomi's previous Ninebot GoKart Kits, first released in 2018. However, the electronics company based in China said that the Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition retains "classic Lamborghini elements"—most likely referring to the stark yellow body, the sports car rear spoiler, the signature "Lamborghini" typography, and the distinctive emblem.
Furthermore, Business Insider reports that the Ninebot GoKart Pro is specifically designed to allow drifting and racing. It has a pair of customized rear tires installed in the go-kart, paired with a sports steering wheel. Additionally, users can choose four different driving modes—safe, novice, sport, and track—from the application that comes with the vehicle.
Adding to the classy, luxury feel commonly associated with Lamborghini vehicles, the electric go-kart also comes with four built-in speakers that can play music straight from the driver's phone with its Bluetooth connectivity. Aside from the music player capability, the GoKart Pro Lamborghini can also mimic the sound of actual Lamborghini sports cars, which comes from either the V8 or V12 engines installed.
Engineered for Both the Challenge and Safety
Materials-wise, online product review site Xiaomi Today notes that the go-kart is mostly made up of highly-toughened steel material. Its weight capacity is pegged at 100 kilograms or 220 pounds, maintaining its torque rigidity within the specified load - allowing it to run well even in different road conditions.
The Ninebot GoKart Pro is powered by a 432 Watt-hour battery. Its power assignment is enough to allow the go-kart to reach speeds of 24.9 miles per hour and can reportedly go for 62 laps around a racetrack 400 meters, or approximately 1,312.35 feet long. At night, travel safely along well-lit roads thanks to its ice lake blue LED lights.
In terms of safety specifications, the go-kart boasts the multi-layered front lip and body silhouette design inspired by the Italian car manufacturer. The front lip is designed specifically to cushion front impacts. It is supported by anti-collision barriers at the sides, keeping the driver safe even during high-speed runs. Even its spoiler is designed to spoil drag in the lowered vehicle, which Xiaomi says allows for a more stable experience.
