Samsung has always trolled Apple's newest phones every year, and this 2020 is no different from the previous years. The Korean tech company has trolled the new iPhone 12 because it comes without the charger and its Lightning headphones.
Apple revealed last week that they are no longer including the charger in the iPhone 12's retail box for the environment's sake. This move has saved the company money, but the supposed environmental benefits can be offset by buying separately the earbuds and chargers, which comes with a separate box.
Samsung Trolls Apple iPhone 12 on Facebook
When Apple announced on October 13 that its new flagship smartphone would no longer have a charger that usually comes within a box, it was met with mixed reactions. But with its competitors also set to release their new models soon, like Samsung, this notable change has also caught their attention.
Samsung immediately took to their Facebook account and reminded everyone that they can still have a new charger, given that they choose to buy Galaxy instead of the iPhone, BGR reported.
The post reads: "Your #Galaxy does give you what you are looking for. From the most basic as a charger to the best camera, battery, performance, memory, and even 120Hz screen on a smartphone."

But it was not only Samsung who trolled Apple's new iPhone 12. The Chinese smartphone company, Xiaomi, has also posted on their Twitter account a video showing a person unboxing their Mi 10T Pro to reveal a power adapter inside, Mint reported. The post has now garnered over one million views and more than 34,000 likes. Xiaomi's Twitter post read: "Don't worry, we didn't leave anything out of the box with the #Mi10TPro."

Apple's Decision To Not Include a Charger
Apple's decision to remove the chargers and headphones is their way of reducing the waste that the tech company generates.
According to Lisa Jackson, the vice president of environment, policy, and social initiatives, "More than 2 billion Apple power adapters are out in the world, and many customers already have wired headphones or AirPods, removing these items also means a smaller, lighter iPhone box. We can fit up to 70% more items on a shipping pallet. Instead, iPhone users will have to buy EarPods and the USB power adapter separately."
Moreover, Apple said that its users have already accumulated enough chargers for iPhones now over the years, so most of them no longer need new chargers. The company claims that their decision comes after careful thinking and strategic planning.
For its earphones, Apple also said that customers already have over 700 million Lightning headphones, and many of them have already opted using the wireless experience. Thus, not including the charger and the earphones seems a sensible decision to make for the environment.
But for avid iPhone users, with or without a charger, they are still going to buy the new iPhone, according to Techno Sports.
