Having a good bed to sleep on would result in getting a good night's sleep which benefits the body. Now, a team of innovators from Opus Immersive has designed a bed that can heal a person and offers an emotional fitness that uses nothing more than sound and vibrations.

They used the similar technology commonly utilized by tech companies, like Apple and Microsoft to create a more immersive entertainment experience.

Opus SoundBed: The Bed that Heals

Opus SoundBed ushers a new generation of self-care products by combining spatial sound and low-frequency behavior. It's like going to a concert but being near the speakers.

According to the website Boss Hunting, Swiss design firm Yves Behar put the futuristic bed together in collaboration with Opus. The technology behind the bed is driven by the idea of immersive SoundHealing that utilizes spatial audio technology to help people relax.

By manipulating the sound vibrations that the bed releases, SoundBed puts the body into the desired state in as little as seven minutes.

Using sound for healing is not new because it has been used in countless technologies in the age of modern humans. But the SoundBed is the result of a collaboration between audio and vibroacoustic engineers, sound healers, and other experts that uses music as medicine or a healing factor.

How Does the SoundBed Works?

SoundBed uses vibroacoustic technology that sends low-frequency vibrations through the body, according to the website Auto Evolution. These vibrations are said to relieve stress and induces relaxation and receptivity.

To add to the relaxing experience, the SoundBed also comes with a headphone. This is used for eliminating exterior auditory stimulation and also used for guided meditation and breathing exercises.

The bed is 71 inches by 24 inches by 24 inches size bed could easily fit in the center of the living room or next to the bed. It can be folded with 24-inch dimensions. so, after using the bed ut can be neatly tucked into a corner or use as a conversation piece, according to Opus.

The bed has five customizable tactile transducers that vibrate from head to toe; it is like getting a massage for the whole body. More so, the bed also has a multi-port hub that supplies two USB 2.0/3.0 inputs, one USB-C input, and a Bluetooth 5.0 LT connectivity.

Additionally, the sound from the SoundBed is supplied by an in/out aux line and a 7.1 Dolby Sound microphone input, which is essential for guided meditation and a healing center.

According to Engadget, the SoundBed is a life-changing product that costs $1,999. Although the website of Opus noted that people can get a $500 discount if they pre-order the bed right now.

But for those who are looking for affordable and effective ways to care for their mental, emotional, and physical health, they could enroll in classes that offer mediation.
