When Rockstar announced that the Grand Theft Auto V PC would be out during the fall of 2014, gamers the world over eagerly started counting down the days, and many pre-ordered the game before its release. Then the bombshell hit: the launch would be delayed till late January. Players patiently waited but as if the wait wasn't enough, the release date was pushed to March 24, and now even longer as players will have to wait for two more weeks before the release.
When that announcement came through, it received quite a negative reception from the annoyed gamers who are already tired of the wait. It is becoming difficult to establish whether gamers are crediting Rockstar for promising a polished game or they are frustrated because of the long wait.
On the other hand, Rockstar has promised the players who had pre-ordered the game that they will receive a bonus of 200,000 dollars to use in GTA Online. That is an amazing goodwill offer for players that will certainly help to ease the pain of having to wait so long.
It has also been announced that Online Heists will be out on March 10th to keep the players entertained as they await the release of the GTA V for PC. We hope that it will be a hit and not a miss because that will surely frustrate the players even more.
One bright spot to note: the GTA V for PC will feature new editing tool called the Rockstar Editor which will make it easy for players to create clips on YouTube and even publish on Rockstar Social Club. The game will support up to 30 players for GTA Online and players will need 4GB of memory and a quad core processor that runs atleast 2.5GHs.
Let's sit back and hope that it will be an exciting and polished game. Why wait eagerly for this long for something that wasn't worth the wait?
