Mad Max: Fury Road, the much-hyped fourth film of the Mad Max franchise directed by George Miller is set to release on May 15, 2015. This film also marks the comeback of Miller. This is the first film for the Mad Max franchise in 30 years after Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was released in 1985.
The lead role of Rockatansky is played by Tom Hardy (a british actor) and Imperator Furiousa is played by Charlize Theron(South African-American actress).
Tom Hardy has been gaining popularity in Hollywood over the past few years, and has played the lead role in many famous films like Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
And of course, there is Charlize Theron, who is a veteran actress with many big hits and awards under her belt. She won the Academy Award, the Silver Bear award, the Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for her role of Aileen in Monster (2003).
The other cast members include Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, Zoe Kravitz as Toast, Riley Keough as Capable and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Splendid.
According to rumors the plot pictures a desert landscape with Max, seeking peace of mind after the death of his wife, family, and Furiosa, who plans to cross the desert to reach her childhood place in order to survive while they are followed by the warlord Immortan Joe.
With Miller as the director you can bet the movie to be full of jaw dropping stunts. Even the trailer includes several eye catching stunts and as the rumours have it, the movie ought to one of the best action movies of 2015. And with Miller having a few decades to prepare, this one is surely gong to be something spectacular.
