The stunning Northern Lights have been visible for the second night Monday in the United Kingdom. Its pilot treated the passengers in flight EZY1806t to enjoy the spectacular light displays.

Northern Lights Visible in England 2 Nights in a Row

Mark Gibbs from the Met Office said the weather condition was perfect Sunday evening making the aurora borealis visible in the south of England. The spectacular light show was present on Monday night again and was seen as far south as Cornwall.

It was visible across large parts of the country as far as Berkshire and Wiltshire. The best place to catch the phenomenon overnight was in Northern Scotland. However, the cloudy skies prevented some stargazers from witnessing the event, Daily Mail reported.

However, many were still able to photograph the mesmerizing phenomenon. Drew McGrath, 36, was among those who were very lucky to get a second sighting of the light display over his home in the village of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye.

McGrath told the PA news agency that it was the second time he saw the colorful light display with his naked eye. According to him, the colors green and red were very strong. He said it was hard to explain, but the sight was beautiful to watch and share.

Gibbs previously said that it was expected to have clear sightings of the Northern lights two nights in a row in the south of England. He explained that the sighting on Sunday was a bubble of magnetized plasma particles that came off the sun and were heading towards the Earth. Additionally, it would take two days for those particles to arrive, enter the Earth's upper atmosphere, and excite atoms.

He said the most common sight is green, which is the color resulting from oxygen atoms being excited. The colors red and purple indicate nitrogen atoms being excited.

Passengers from Reykjavik heading to Manchester onboard flight EZY1806 were delighted because the pilot did a 360-fly mid-flight to ensure all passengers could see the incredible Northern Lights.

Thanks to the pilot, several passengers took to Twitter and shared their joy after witnessing the spectacular lights display.

Adam Groves shared some shots of the aurora borealis he was able to capture onboard the flight. In the caption, he thanked the pilot of EZY1806 for doing a 360-fly for them to see the colorful night sky.

Sarah Hitchen, who was also among the passengers, shared some photos of the Northern Lights she captured. She said she had an amazing flight and acknowledged the pilot for the 360-degree round for them to witness the phenomenon.

The flight's captain and crew have been treating their passengers with the spectacular light display whenever they can.

Another passenger onboard the same airline a week ago also shared the same experience. According to Cara Ackroyd, the family took a bucket list trip for their dad to see the Northern Lights. However, aurora borealis had evaded them all week, but when they were onboard EZY1806, and the spectacular phenomenon occurred, the amazing captain and crew made sure they would see it.

In the photos, the green lights were visible. There were also shades of purple.
