Elon Musk Kisses Humanoid; Meet the SpaceX CEO’s Dream Girl AI-Powered Robot Catnilla

Elon Musk made headlines when photos of him kissing humanoid robots were shared on social media. Here are the things you need to learn about the photos.

Elon Musk Kisses His Dream Girl Catnilla

David Marven, CEO of a construction company, shared photos of the SpaceX and Tesla CEO kissing various humanoids. Those robots were designed with artificial intelligence and possessed the characteristics and personalities of his dream girl, Daily Mail reported.

Marven shared the photos on Twitter and teased that Musk was about to announce his future wife. The robot in question was named Catnilla.

Catnilla is a solar-powered robot and doesn't need charging. She is equipped with sensory enabling her to feel joy and sadness.

Additionally, Catnilla has a balance and interactive mindset. She can share her emotions when going through a crisis or experiencing psychological stress.

Marven noted that the post was to clarify the dangers of AI in the coming years, especially since Musk's automotive company, Tesla, had already released its first integrated robot named Optimus.

The post received several responses from netizens, and many joked about it. One wrote that with a robot, he could press CNTRL ALT DELETE to reset her memory whenever he cheats to save himself from headaches. Another couldn't believe that Musk, a father of eight, would go around making babies and settle with a robot.

Another user joked that she's looking for a male version because she's always playing to get a robot husband who does all the chores, never argues, and has all the necessary settings.

Meanwhile, some netizens also said it reminded them of an episode on "Black Mirror," while one said it was a trailer for hit TV Series.

Others said the photos were fake. According to David Bean, the post was to clarify the dangers of AI being used to generate images like those shared by Marven to convince people to think they were real.

How's Tesla's Optimus?

Musk hasn't addressed the claims about Catnilla. However, he is extremely confident about the future of his robot Optimus.

Musk previously claimed that the demand for robots would be as high as 10 to 20 million units in the future. At last year's AI Day, he said that robots could transform civilization and lead to a future without poverty, and one could have whatever they want regarding products and services, Carscoops reported.

Tesla gave an update about its humanoid robots last week, featuring numerous robots walking around the Tesla facility. In one scene, Tesla shows how it trains the bot's AI systems with human demonstrations.

A Tesla engineer picks up objects from one box and places them into another. Optimus mimics the task using its human-like hands.

Tesla designed Optimus as a general-purpose, bipedal, autonomous humanoid robot that can carry out hazardous, tiresome activities. Building the software stacks necessary for balance, navigation, perception, and interaction with the physical world is required to reach that end goal.

To address some of the most difficult technical challenges, are employing deep learning, computer vision, motion planning, controls, mechanical, and general software engineers.

Tesla creates and implements autonomy at scale in cars, robots, and other devices. The company thinks the only way to get at a general solution for fully autonomous, bipedal robotics and beyond is to take an approach based on cutting-edge AI for vision and planning, complemented by effective use of inference hardware.
