The US Navy has confirmed that a junior sailor tried to access President Biden's medical records in a military medical database.

The junior sailor received administrative discipline after the attempted data breach investigation was finished in late April.

Navy Sailor Attempts to Access Biden's Medical Records

The sailor, whose name was not disclosed, serves the hospital corps of the Navy and is based in Fort Belvoir. The junior tried to access the President's medical records three times.

He accessed the Genesis Medical Health System thrice on February 23. However, according to a US official, the sailor did not retrieve the correct Joe Biden in the record.

According to a Navy Statement, the NMRTC (Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command) For Belvoir got notified of an active-duty service member performing unauthorized access over medical records.

According to Tim Hawkins, the Navy Commander, the MHS Genesis system is a health system that is secure. The sailor was not able to access the medical records of the President at all.

An open investigation was held and completed on April 24 after the Naval Criminal Investigative Service was informed. The sailor then received administrative punishment.

Biden's Health Concerns

Two days after the start of the investigation, Biden had a physical checkup on February 28. According to an official from the White House, this physical was planned beforehand and was not affected by the incident.

His doctor determined that the President was "fit for duty" after this physical checkup. After several hours, the President's physical summary was released by the White House. Dr. Kevin O'Connor, the president's physician, revealed in a memo on the day of the checkup that no new concerns were identified in the physical.

However, the news of the attempts to access Biden's medical records comes as the President continues to be under scrutiny regarding his mental and physical health.

Just recently, it was revealed that a neurologist and Parkinson's expert went to the White House and met with Biden's physician. This was suspected to be connected to the concerns regarding Biden possibly having Alzheimer's.

While the White House has recently denied the claims that Biden may have received treatment for Parkinson's Disease from the said neurologist, the controversy regarding the President's health condition still persists.

Experts think that Biden has exhibited classic Parkinson's disease symptoms. Such features include a rigid posture, difficulty with words, and monotone and hoarse speech. Parkinson's disease is mainly a neurodegenerative disorder that affects neurons in the brain's substantia nigra, leading to symptom progression over the years.

During the first presidential debate, President Biden appeared to freeze, ramble, and struggle with his words. It also seemed like he lost his train of thought.
