The Upcoming BlackBerry Priv In Android Lollipop

One of the most anticipated devices this year is the BlackBerry Priv. It seems like the Canadian Tech company has ditched its own Operating System and used Android instead. According to the BlackBerry CEO that Priv was named after the company's heritage core mission, to protect its customer.

BlackBerry has finally answered its problem with lack of applications and Operating system issues in growing stock android with Priv and it will sport both touch and a sliding physical keyboard. Under the hood it has a hexa-core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 for a much faster performance coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The device also has a 32 GB of internal storage expandable to a whooping 2TB. The Priv is equipped with a curved 5.4-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD screen resolution, same as Samsung's Galaxy s6, an 18 megapixel Schneider-Kreuznach rear camera shooter and a 2 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video chats and a massive 3410 mah battery capacity.

Also, as one of the main features of the phone, it has an exclusive DTEK warning system for privacy. This was created to alert the user to any privacy breaches. The Priv Runs with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and will support 4G LTE connection.

The upcoming device also has the BlackBerry Android Integration of BB10. A deeply integrated unified messaging client application. Thus, making the company's promise real at the last MWC in Barcelona.

The Blackberry Priv price was leaked by the U.K. Carphone warehouse, with a sitting price of US$890. But the price would be slightly lower when it hits US. According to CEO Chen, they focus on making faster progress to achieve profitability in their handset devices.
