Facebook messenger is one of the leading messaging apps in the market. It received a considerable amount of features by its updates.
Just a couple of days ago, it was announced that Facebook is in talks with various companies in order for it to provide more useful features for its millions of users. One of these companies is Uber, which recently became a part of the Facebook Messenger team when the two of them collaborated to allow the app users to call a cab without ever having to leave the site. Aside from that, the Uber's integration enables the user to track a driver and also make payments.
Through a new tool called 'Photo Magic,' one can now take a groufie and instantly send a copy to everyone included in the picture. It is a new tool that has been in development for more than a month. According to a statement released by Facebook, this newest offers help for those people who often forget to share holiday pictures.
Facebook Messenger also released a set of holiday-themed stickers and graphics. One of these is the ability to send emoticons of skier, snowman, Christmas tree and snowflakes. What's really cool about it is that once any of these holiday-related emojis were used, snowflakes would automatically fall on the screen, instantly giving holiday feels to anyone.
And lastly, Facebook now lets its users customize their apps by giving the ability to change colors, pick favorite emojis and put on nicknames. Now, the users can set their color for each conversation bubble that will pop up on the screen once a new message comes in. Aside from that, the set of default emojis can now be changed to whatever the user wants to. If that's not enough improvement, the app also has a new update that allows the user to give nicknames to his or her friends.
According to a recent statement released by Facebook, the update comes with hopes of adding delight during the holiday soon. They also hoped that instead of people going out and pushing themselves against a crowd of last-minute shoppers just to buy cards, they might as well just head on to the app and use all the Christmas- and New Year-themed graphics that they need.
